Uncut Video apps were originally devised as exercises and demonstrations of features of the analysis libraries. They also serve as real-world tests for portability and compatibility with various platforms on desktop and mobile.
Supported mobile platforms include Android, iOS, while desktop is supported with Ubuntu, Windows 7 through 10, and OS X. Development is supported with Eclipse, Visual Studio and Qt5 and Xcode.
Application code uses native code to the maximum, with JNI interfaces for Android and fully 100% C++ code in the Qt environment.
